Pillsbury® Grands!® Flaky Layers Honey Butter Biscuits Review and Giveaway

I had an opportunity to try Pillsbury® Grands!® Flaky Layers Honey Butter Biscuits for free.  They are actually quite good!  I liked them a lot.  They were great for the days when I want something sweet and may have opted for syrup with my biscuits instead of eating them plain.  I didn't think they needed any extra butter at all.  The only qualm I had was I have a small stove and it is very difficult to cook baked goods in.  They burn easily and I periodically have to check on them.  Well with these I thought they were done but they were still very soft and doughy in the middle so I had to cook them a few minutes longer.  They were a little harder to gauge than the normal biscuits and must've been more moist.  But overall I loved them!

Now for the giveaway!  Pillsbury has provided me the opportunity to offer two free coupons for one of my readers to try this product as well as a prize pack through MyBlogSparkTM.  In addition to the two coupons (which are only valid in the U.S.) you will receive a nice butter dish and spreading knife.  (See picture at the end of the post.)

There are several ways to enter and please do a separate post for each entry.
1. Let me know what you usually prepare for breakfast.

  4. I follow the Blood Type Diet, and I am an O
which means I am a meat eater. Therefore my breakfast is not typical. I cook a big pot of beef stew, which constist of meat and root vegetables ( celery, parsnips, turnips, beets, carrots, onions, sweet potatoes, garlic to name a few) I eat from this stew daily the root vegetables are a good detoxer and the meat is good for my digestive system ( lean organic or grass fed meats) even though I don't eat anything with white flour, I think those biscuits would be great for my husband who also enjoys my breakfat stew.

  7. Looks like there is a lot of variety out there! During the week I get up at 5:00 so I eat at work Yogurt, fruit cup and dried cereal or breakfast bar. One the weekend I usually cook eggs for my husband and then bacon and a lot of time crescent rolls, biscuits or cinnamon rolls. Then I have fruit and cottage cheese as I am mildly allergic to eggs.

  10. During the week, I normally do what is "quick" for the kids, myself and my husband...granola bars with milk or juice and fruit or oatmeal with milk and coffe or an english muffin with margarine and honey. On the weekend is when we get the treat of a real breakfast which usually means biscuits with egg, cheese and breakfast meat or sweet rolls...both of which go great with coffee! Thanks for the fun opportunity!!

  28. All meals in my house are tough! It's just my husband and I, but we work shifts and never see each other for 5-6 days a week. I often prepare 2 sets of each meal - one for him, and one for me, which makes it tough. But luckly items like this are easy to make - and even the hubby can throw them in the oven for any meal!
