One way to greatly reduce your produce budget and eat healthy is to shop at your local farmers market. The Oakland County Farmers Market is located at: 2350 Pontiac Lake Road Waterford, Michigan, USA, 48328
Their hours from May to through December are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (In the winter they are only open on Saturdays.) Of course you want to shop as early as possible to get the best pick. This is so close to my house and I am bound and determined to shop their more.
