Kroger/PepsiCo Redbox Promotion running through all of 2010

Did you stock up on Pepsi products in the last two weeks at Kroger and get free redbox movies?  I know I have already used one and have four more sitting around.  In the pop aisle I saw the signs for the promotions at two different Krogers but try as I could I could not find an end date!  Well Inside Redbox finally got me the scoop that this is good until the end of the year! Directly from the Inside Redbox article: Under the terms of the new promotion, customers who purchase three or more Pepsi or Frito Lay products at Kroger stores will earn a free one-night Redbox movie rental. The “Make it a Movie Night” promotion began earlier this month (in May) and runs through 2010.  (Remember Kroger usually means Kroger and all affliate stores.)  So something to keep in mind next time there is a good deal on Frito Lay products or pepsi products!

So this is something to keep in mind next time Tostitos are buy one get one free, has great coupons or Pepsi and/or Mountain Dew are $1.25 or less.

Do you not live near a Kroger or did you miss out on this deal?  Well if you have never used redbox before there are a few codes to try.  You can use DVDONME, BREAKROOM at any location.  Then these are location specific DVDKROG (valid at Kroger and ALL affliate stores), DVDATWAG (valid at Walgreens only). These codes work one per debit/credit card. To use: Go to the kiosk start with rent with promo code, then enter code the code sent to you via text message. Be sure to return the movie by 9 p.m. the following day to avoid being charged $1 for each additional day.
