Grocery Store Roll Call August Week 1 & 2


I did a lot of shopping last month so I was easy on the first week and made a trip to Aldi's and spent $14.16.
The second week I returned to my normal shopping: Kroger $18.72 worth of food detailed below.

Kroger (Grand Blanc Kroger that Doubles coupons up to $1.00)
Total Spent: $18.72
Total Saved: $55.40
Percentage Saved: 74.74%

VGs (Waterford VGs that doubles coupons up to $1.00)
Total Spent: $39.10

Total Saved: $50.25
Percentage Saved: 56.24%

For the two weeks combined I spent $71.98 to purchase $177.63 worth of food and had an overall savings rate of just 59.48%.
