The actual total was that I spent $96.35 to purchase $256.96 worth of products including diabetic suppliers for my husband for an overall savings of 62.50%. However part of that was what was spent from my flexible spending account which doesn't come from my grocery budget. Removing that amount I had a savings of 64.2%. Although earlier I calculated Aldi's as an automatic 50% savings I will leave it as is for this year. I have about $124 left for the rest of the month for my budget.
